What is Turbolux Barossa Exterior Emulsion?

How do you apply Barossa?

Start by cleaning the surface so it is free of loose paint, dust and grease, with no dampness or seepage. Remove any previous growth of fungus, algae or moss by vigorous wire brushing and washing with water. Fill surface imperfections such as holes, dents and fine cracks with putty or a mix of white cement and fine sand in a 1:3 ratio.

On freshly plastered walls, let the surface cure fully. For both fresh and repaint jobs, apply one coat of Turbolux exterior primer thinned with an equal part of water and allow it to dry for about 4 hours. Then apply 2 to 3 topcoats of Barossa, diluting each litre with up to 400 ml of water and leaving a gap of 4 to 6 hours between coats. Give horizontal surfaces such as the tops of windows and ledges an extra coat for added protection. For lasting performance, wash off algae and fungal growth every six months.
