Extra Glatt Technology · Soft Sheen

Barossa

Soft sheen, everyday value.

An all-round exterior top finish with excellent whiteness and a soft sheen. Water-based and extremely easy to apply — two coats deliver a smooth, long-lasting result. Extra Glatt Technology gives the film its smooth, even soft sheen — suitable for both residential and commercial properties.

Feature 01 · Extra Glatt Technology

Soft sheen.

Glatt is German for smooth, and that is the whole job of the technology: it lets the paint level out as it dries, so the film closes flat instead of setting grainy.

A flat film is what produces a soft sheen. Light meeting an even surface comes back evenly, giving one low, consistent lustre across the wall — rather than the patchy brightness you get where a rough film catches the light in some places and not others. It is the same smoothness you feel with a hand on the wall.

On the finish scale that puts Barossa one step above matt: more light than a flat wall, well short of a gloss. Two coats are enough to close the surface and hold it there.

Feature 02

Extra whiteness.

An elegant look with extra brightness.

Image brief

Prompt. Extra whiteness. Show a half-painted wall where the new coat visibly buries the patchy substrate, crisp vertical cut line. Extra whiteness — a bright white elevation against monsoon greenery and hills

Feature 03 · What sets it apart

Affordable.

Barossa is the value exterior emulsion in the Turbolux range, and it is priced there deliberately. It does not carry a warranty term — that is what separates it from the emulsions above it, and it is reflected in the price.

What it does carry is the quality you would expect further up: Extra Glatt Technology for a real soft sheen rather than a flat economy finish, extra whiteness that keeps the wall looking clean, and 120–130 sq ft per litre on one coat — so the lower price is not being paid back in extra tins.

For boundary walls, compound walls and large plain elevations, where the area is big and the budget matters more than a warranty certificate, that is usually the right trade.
