DM Technology — Direct to Metal

Prestige

1-Pack anti-corrosive epoxy primer.

Interior and exterior. Excellent adhesion to steel and concrete, superior abrasion and impact resistance, and a glossy film that holds out water, oil, grease and solvents.

A primer, not a finish. Prestige is the base coat that the finishing system goes over.

Drying & cure

5min

Surface dry.

Touch dry in five minutes, recoat at six hours, back in service in twenty-four. A weekend shutdown is enough to prime, build and hand the plant back.

At normal ambient conditions. Low temperature, high humidity and heavy film build extend drying and recoat times.

DM Technology

Direct to Metal.

No separate metal primer. No wash coat. Straight onto properly prepared steel.

DM Technology is the formulation platform behind Prestige — a tough, impact-resistant film that bonds directly to concrete, steel and prepared metal, and cures to a smooth, easy-to-clean gloss.

Excellent

Adhesion that does not let go.

Concrete, steel, iron, other ferrous metals and wood.

Everything above the primer depends on this coat. Prestige wets into the prepared surface and anchors the system to it — which is why preparation decides the result.

Superior

Abrasion & impact.

Slung, stacked, bolted and dragged — before it is ever in service.

Steelwork takes its worst punishment in the yard and on the truck. The DM film is built for superior abrasion, impact and mechanical durability, so what arrives on site still looks like what left the shop.

High

Shrugs off the spill.

Oils, greases and solvents sit on the surface instead of soaking in.

In tank farms, pipework and chemical plant, a low-permeability film keeps aggressive liquids away from the steel underneath — and wipes clean afterwards.

For steel structures and other ferrous metal, interior and exterior.

Kerala weather is the test: monsoon humidity, salt in the coastal air, and long dry heat in between. Prestige puts a barrier between all of that and the steel.

Resistant

Water and moisture out.

Low permeability, once the film has fully cured.

Twenty-four hours to full cure. After that the film resists water and moisture, and the low-permeability barrier protects the substrate from whatever the weather brings.

Getting it right

Film build, application, preparation.

The performance above is what the film delivers. This is how you get it — the coats, the intervals and the preparation that decide the result.

Protection comes from thickness, not from one heavy pass.

Two to three coats, a minimum of six hours apart. That is what turns a coat of paint into a system.

Coat 3 — optional

Final build

Where exposure is harshest — chemical plant, coastal air, wash-down areas.

Coat 2

After the recoat interval

A minimum of six hours on. This coat closes the film and brings up the gloss.

Coat 1

Wets into the prepared surface and anchors the system.
